My First Giveaway Event Now Open (One Week Only)

This giveaway event is the first I have taken part in.

These events are very interesting, so I thought I should give it a go.

Two weeks ago, I wrote a how-to guide to updating your Wordpress blog to the latest version (2.5).

I know many people find this update process rather daunting, so I thought a clear guide, containing lots of screenshots, would help.

Having written the guide, I wanted to get into into other peoples’ hands, so I submitted the guide to this giveaway event.

Basically, anyone can get it (and many other useful reports, graphics, software products in the giveaway from other contributors) at no cost.

I will hopefully get some interest in the report and some people joining my update list, having requested more information.

Take a look at the giveaway.

There are lots of great products for you, just waiting.

Grab something interesting as a freebie.

Perhaps it will be my Wordpress version update guide?

Making A WordPress Theme

Those of us who use blogs, will know how appealing your own ’self-hosted’ WordPress blog can be.

I have now made more than 10 WordPress blogs, but have always been rather frustrated, trying to get a WordPress theme that looked ‘just right’ for my needs.

So I thought, “Why not find out how to make a WordPress theme myself?”

You can see the result at PowerBloggerTheme.com

PowerBlogger theme was designed to NOT look like a blog. It has few of the usual WordPress “clues”. I wanted a look that I could use for non-blog sites, such as corporate websites and niche content sites.

Please give it try and do let me know what you think about it and whether it works for you.

It’s free of course, but I do ask you to join the update list, so I can advise any new versions and issues etc.

Thanks.
